Delete your Retro Offroad account
You can delete your online account and its data at any time, directly in the game or by asking us here.
Option 1: in the game (instant)
- Open the game and tap PROFILE on the title screen.
- Tap DELETE ACCOUNT.
- Check the details and tap DELETE PERMANENTLY. You need an internet connection.
The deletion happens immediately. If you also switch on ALSO ERASE CAREER ON THIS DEVICE, your local career save is erased too; otherwise it stays on your device.
Option 2: ask us (if you no longer have the game)
Send us your Driver ID, the 8-character code shown at the top right of the Profile screen (it's also your friend code). Guest accounts aren't linked to an email or phone number, so the Driver ID is how we find your account.
This opens your email app with the request filled in; nothing is sent until you send it. Or write to team@veilbreakgames.com with the subject "Account deletion request" and your Driver ID.
We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email if you gave us an address. If you no longer know your Driver ID, tell us your display name and roughly when you last played. We'll try to find the account, but without the Driver ID we may not be able to confirm that it's yours.
What gets deleted
- Your guest sign-in (anonymous account)
- Your driver profile: display name, truck colour, class and Driver ID
- Your friends (removed from both friend lists) and friend requests you sent or received
- Your team membership. If you own a team, it passes to your top contributor, or is disbanded if you're the only member.
- Your leaderboard times on every track, all-time and monthly seasons
- Your block list and rate-limit records
What is kept, and for how long
- Team bank records keep the amounts you paid into a team, with a random account ID that is no longer linked to any profile or sign-in, for as long as that team exists, so its bank stays auditable. They are deleted when the team is disbanded.
- Reports you sent, or that other players sent about you, are kept for up to 12 months for safety and moderation, then deleted.
- Your career on your device (money, trucks, upgrades, records) isn't stored by us. It stays on your device until you erase it in the game or uninstall the game.
